Lighting


The lighting in the video is very low key lighting as it is black throughout. However there is a blue strobe lighting throughout on the cage and on the singers face. This looks really cool and its something that I would like to put in my video. Furthermore, at about 3 and half minutes there is the introduction of fire which brightens it up but it is still very dark.




Mise-en-Scene


There isn't a lot of mise-en-scene in the video as its nearly all performance. The main props are the Cage that the performer performs behind and that's shown throughout it. In addition to thsis the fire that is used is cool and something that I would like to put in my video. Furthermore, the facial expression of the performer is very aggressive and meaningful. This is a convention of the genre and something I think we should use.
