Lighting
The surrounding lighting of the performance/ narrative is very low key and almost dark. This is a very common thing in this genre of music and will be something that I will have in my video. In addition, on the performers face there is a bright light shining on them so you can see them very clearly which is also something I would like to do in my video. The light is created via portable lights.
Furthermore, during the performance part of the video, during the setting that looks like a morg, there is strobe lighting that creates a distorted feel. This is something I defiantly want to use. Here is an example of it...
Mise-en-Scene
The setting is in like a morg but also what looks like the bottom of a stair case. The morg setting looks really cool and something that I would like to create as there are symbols of death. The costumes aof the band are just plain black which is a convention. In addition to this, there is the basic props such as the instruments, but there is also props that connotate the surreal such as a glass coffin.
